1992 Mercedes 190E Auto

1992 190E 2. 0 in Signal Red with contrasting Almandine Red lower panels. First owner (a University Professor) kept this car for 25 years and during this time it was in constant use, but the front passenger and rear seats were rarely used.
It has been maintained to a very high standard throughout its life, with FSH by MB up to 1999 then by several Independents, one of whom is Neville Wright (Diamond Garage Independent MB specialist), also one of the registered keepers, having acquired the car from the original owner. The history is fully documented with all supporting receipts. This is evidenced by the exceptionally clean MOT history – the car has passed every test in the last 10 years.
Owned by me (long term MB Club Member) since July 2021, and I have to say it has been near faultless. I have carried out some preventative maintenance, addressed all of the MOT advisories, thoroughly rustproofed it and had 2 services carried out, including a full one in March this year, 3000 miles ago. As a result of the fastidious care it drives like you would expect a well maintained 190E to, with every function working as the Manufacturer intended. The body work is very smart, free of corrosion in the usual trouble spots around the rear window, battery tray and jacking points.
