The Appeal

We have to admire the choices made by the first keeper of this smart 500SEC. The attractive Willow Green paintwork is matched to an ultra-rare cream velour interior. Both remain in great order and make a pleasing alternative to more common silver hues and leather trim.

The car is in great order. The history file tells a similar story of a well-kept car that has clearly been looked after by its handful of keepers. There is a run of 24 services by main dealers and latterly by specialists. The last service was in 2019 but the car has covered few miles since. It is factory standard save for the addition of a set of classic ‘Monobloc’ alloys that suit the potential of this 5L 250bhp V8 grand tourer.
