1973 Volkswagen T2 Bay Window Double Cab
It is an original RHD vehicle, originally from South Africa
I have owned this bus for nearly 5 years, the last 2 years I have done very little with it & it now needs finishing.
It is UK registered in my name at my home address.
I have spent extensive amounts of money on this, but have lost the will to finish it and have also lost some vehicle storage.
During my ownership over the last 5 years the following has been done, but not limited to:
Repainted
Re Wired
Engine rebuilt
New Exhaust
New Fuel Lines
Petrol Tank Cleaned
New Window Rubbers
New windscreen
Brakes Refurbished
This work has been carried out over a few years as funds have allowed.
The bus starts, stops & drives, the motor has had some heat cycles but will need running in.
The interior needs trimming, door cards etc.
The seats are present as shown in the images, will need painting & trimming.
I don't have the correct rear bench, the pedestal is present, was going to modify the seat I have to fit.
I have driven for less than 5 miles since it's been registered, I now want to sell for someone to finish and enjoy. I have spent all the time and money on the hard jobs !
I have done the heat cycles and a couple of runs around the block.
A weekend or 2 would have this finished.
