Description
MV Agusta Ipotesi 350 GT, the last MV to come out of the historical Varese factory. This motorbike originates from the MV 350 S of the late 60's early 70's, which then also produced the famous Ipotesi with a sporty fairing that recalled the racing cars that in those years were racking up laurels with Agostini, Read, and others. The model on display at our show is a touring interpretation of the Ipotesi 350, of which 369 examples were produced, the last of which decreed the end of the production lines of the historic Cascina Costa company. The brand was then taken over 20 years later by the Castiglioni family of Cagiva, and the rest is recent history. The bike in our showroom is a 1977 registration and shows just over 8000 km on the odometer. It still has its original number plate, and has undergone major mechanical and cosmetic work by its owner, such as the final drive, fork, and electrical system. A peculiarity of this bike is the gearbox on the right with first gear up, as on the racing bikes of the time, also a legacy of MV sports history.
