3 Door E30 M52B28 Swap For Sale.
Unfortunately, I am looking to sell my E30 that I have been working on for the past 5 years. I am only selling since moving to Germany a few years ago I am no longer using the car as much as I would like and importing the car will be too expensive.
The car was originally a 318i Auto which now has a freshly re-built M52B28 from a 7 Series. The engine was completely re-built from top to bottom and has only been used for around 200-300 miles since. If you REG check the car you will see a mileage discrepancy this is due to the change of clusters.
Alongside the engine being built, there was along a lot of welding done (rear arches, front arches, battery tray, scuttle panel) and a full coat of Dinitrol Underseal and Rust Protection. The suspension set up has been completely changed and is now using an E36 Compact Rear End and E36 Front Hubs and Arms. It is equipped with custom made Bilstein Coilovers (two way adjustable) that were produced by Bilstein themselves and is now running a true coilover set up in the rear.
The breaks have also been upgraded to use E36 Callipers and EBC RPX front pads and EBC YellowStuff Rear Pads.
The engine bay also had a lot of work put in to hide any unnecessary parts and make it look neat and tidy not like a usual swap with an engine dumped in the middle.
The exterior of the car is in moderate condition for the age of the car, the plan was to finish this next with a full respray but we never got round to it.
I have done my best to list everything we have changed/ fitted to the car below. I will have receipts/ invoices for most of the parts fitted (it may just take me a while to compile them all together)
I am asking for 15, 000 firm on this, I feel this is fair due to the condition of the car and all the parts fitted over the years. I am not selling this as a perfectly finished car, it will drive well and you can use with no issues at all, it would maybe need some TLC to get it up to a complete car (in my opinion anyway) others may disagree.

The above parts are all on top on other normal parts for example brake and clutch cylinders etc.
The parts of the car I would say that need addressing are:
The radio will need refitting (we had no plan to use it)
The sunroof handle had snapped, will need replacing
If you wanted to track or use the car a lot will need a bigger radiator
Centeral Locking currently doesn’t work, but you can individually lock
Small rust on the doors but these can be easily swapped out
Small marks on the Dashboard (happened while rebuilding unfortunately)
I have done my best to list absolutely everything I can think of, there of course maybe bits I have missed.
