I am selling my cortina as I need the room for my other project. I got the car in April 23 and have done a lot of work on the car as follows.
Stainless steel exhaust from downpipes back. New alternator. New weber 32/ 36 carb. Samco blue hoses. New washer bottle and pump. Replaced all the chrome around the windows and roof. New rubber door window seals. New door and boot seals. Replaced under carpet sound proofing. New brighter headlight bulbs. New chrome spotlights ( not yet wired up). Original wheels with tyres x5. New alloy wheels and tyres on the car (if the sale price of the car drops to low it will only go with the original wheels). Full pollybush kit with the car but not fitted yet ( no access to a set of ramps over Xmas.
The car is 42yrs old so is in need of a very little attention, useual places like front right side of bonner over the headlight , driver door lower corner and spots near the arches.
It has a vinal roof with full sliding sunroof even has the green tinted push-up sun visor, no bubbling under the vinal and sunroof works perfectly.
The seats are OK but could do with plumping up a little (that's just my opinion) there are no rips or tears on the seats.
Engine oil filler cap could do with a new rubber seal as it's a little loose in fitment. The new weber carburetor needs fine tuning but as this is not my expertise I've not sorted it yet, starts on the choke after a couple or turns I mite have just not set the cable correctly.
The car runs great with no smoke, rattles or bangs . The boot is clean and dry as is the under floor of the car.
This car gets a lot of attention when I'm out for a driver. I will be sorry to see it go but I need the space.
