Honda CBR600 FX Ultima-Light 1999-T model code PC35 only 2 previous keepers and not your usual CBR.
Having only covered 15, 774 miles I purchased this from a local Honda dealer two years ago as it was such an unspoilt genuine machine it just needed some tlc.
Over the last two years alongside my other bikes I spent my spare time re-commissioning the little Honda as a bit of fun but as always it gets a bit out of control.
Obviously had a full service in my workshop inc the usual oil/ filter along with coolant change and brake fluid front/ rear.
Air/ fuel filters changed along with aux air filter foam filters.
The CBR sports the std yellow/ turquoise colour scheme which has never been painted/ repaired with all the std stickers present and no cracks or damage.
Fuel tank is superb inside and out with no dents or scratches.
Work to re-commission included the following and genuine Honda parts were used where possible :
Fronts forks re-chromed (Philpot’s of Luton) lowers vapour blasted and repainted in 2 pk with new seals.
Two genuine mirrors (std ones come with bike but small amount of corrosion on silvering).
Full Hell stainless brake lines f/ rear.
Taper head bearings fitted.
Triple tree clamps repainted.
All discs painstakingly cleaned along with bolts.
Centre/ side stand powder coated along with the wheels and aux brackets inc headlamp brace.
New wheel bearings front and rear and brand new Bridgestone BT016’s fitted.
Downpipes blasted and repainted in Frost VHT satin black.
Brand new radiator as the std one has some slight corrosion and fin damage/ clogged up with years of dirt.
Lots more vapour blasting to footrests etc etc to bring the bike up to a standard you normally wouldn’t expect on a PC35.
The bike will come with a full 12 month MOT when sold and definitely won’t disappoint.
Still got the original book pack inc owners manual/ service book and two keys.
I know you can buy one for £1500 with a tasty iridium screen and performance enhancing exhaust but a genuine clean example with low miles sell for £2500-£3000 with a few in the low £3000’s which I believe this one easily holds it’s own.
All genuine questions will be answered asap and thanks for looking at the little CBR.
