This is a 1926 Morris Snubnose, Light Van, which is different from the Bullnose and Flatnose!
The chassis is a Bullnose Oxford with 11. 9hp engine and 3 speed gearbox and a low ratio back axil.
This is the only one of it's type. It was built by Parkes Coach builders in Maidstone for Lady Meldman-White of Fleet for use on her estate . It was delivered to her in July 1927 .
It is a small van, which is not unusual , but the top can be removed so it can be a pick -up, and was marketed as a "Parkes Utility". The cab is small and so is the door , so not suitable for anyone over 6 foot tall and of larger build unless very flexable !!
This vehicle was totally rebuilt by the previos owner andd the put into storage . I bought it about two years ago, because it is such a pretty car. I have only used it to go to a couple of shows, and to go to the pub a few times, but it is not getting used enough , so I have decided to let it go as my next project is nearing conpletion. May take old car or motorbike in PX
