LAMBRETTA Moto Rosellla 50 cc Single cylinder horizontal 2 stroke 1966 Engine No. 1966: S 50-2465 Frame No. 1966: 55036 The rare model presented here is entirely original, unrestored with its beautiful paintwork, and is just waiting to be put back on the road. Auction link: - details above 50cc scooter with two-speed gearbox, built by the Innocenti factory in Milan, was designed to fit in the boot of a large car, airliner or yacht. With the handlebars removed and the front wheel folded away, it is just 90 cm long, 65 cm high and 35 cm wide, but it has full suspension with telescopic forks at the front and an articulated transmission at the rear, derived from the Lambretta J50 scooter that appeared in 1962. The scooter has a tapered tubular frame, with the fuel tank forming part of the top tube, as well as the front and rear lights. It was marketed by Nautica Pennati and there are currently only three or four examples in the world.
