ALVIS TICKFORD T. A14 TOURER 1948
A much sought after model , the Alvis marque is amongst the truly
much respected thoroughbreds of motoring history.
This lovely reliable vehicle in old English white with burgundy leather upholstery , is a much loved and cherished car.
It has been with me for more than 19 years, but due to future space requirements I have to let it go to the right person, who will cherish and look after it.
The Tickford bodied t. a 14 vehicles were amongst the more expensive hand built models , it has a 3 position hood fully up , half open or completely open. The vehicle is very economical to run, and has a good performance for a car of that period.
Overall the vehicle is in a good used condition, and has proved very reliable, always starting on the button
Good patina original leather seating (front drivers seat could do with repair / reconditioning, otherwise all ok. The fully lined hood is good, and works as it should.
This vehicle is certainly a head turner at shows .
It has always been professionally maintained and runs well , it also has the history of any mechanical repairs etc.
