I’m selling my 2001 Ford F-150 Lightning number 2, 692 of a total of 6, 381 for this year. The truck was imported from Florida in 2004 and has been under my ownership since 2017. It is in a good, well maintained mechanical condition.
The truck has 4 excellent condition Hankook Ventus ST tyres. This truck has been fitted with upgraded sport suspension, springs and shocks, all new brake callipers with high performance disks and pads. The sued/ leather seats and general interior are in ok condition and is fitted with a Sony DAB digital radio with dual Bluetooth connectivity and hands free kit and 2x8” subs and amplifier behind the seats.
The bad part; The paint has seen better days, some lacquer peel on the bonnet and a few other minor rust spots, paint marks, minor scratches an stone chips over the truck and a rusty rear bumper, there is some rust on the drivers side door sill and has a rusty radiator core support. The good news is I have all the replacement panels to repair and restore (negotiable) a hard unknown brand fibreglass tonneau cover and boxes of spares.
The truck drives like new, sounds amazing. It still looks fantastic and is a real American head turner.
These trucks are only becoming rarer and more sought after and is a great investment.
