Description
Stardust replica Jaguar D-Type.
This replica was built using a 1972 Ford Cortina and a Stardust D-type kit, which uses a lightweight GRP body and a triangulated space-frame chassis.
Suspension is via oil coil springs all round with fully adjustable gas shock absorbers. The engine is a 2-litre Ford Pinto twin carb which sounds lovely, especially with the straight through exhaust. The rear axle and steering apparatus are Ford Escort derived.
It has been dry stored when not in use. Starts, runs and drives perfectly. A real head turner.
