Well cared for example of this Corvette engined car. Underrated in the UK, they are highly regarded as a sort after 'sleeper' car in the USA. Known and recorded history. Serviced in 2023, Valid MOT, battery constantly conditioned and regularly used. Kept under cover in a protected car port. Paintwork is excellent and underneath has been Dinitrol treated by a registered company. Interior is also in good condition throughout. Everything on the car works. The only non stock parts are two centre box silencers and an after market audio head unit.
I purchased the car from a deceased estate in 2020. That owner bought the car from Oldcott Motors in 2017 and before that it was privately owned from 2012. I don't know beyond that year.
I bought it because it is the last year of production of what has been termed 'the last great American car'. GM installed a Corvette engine from 94-96 and made what was an ok B Body car into a real performer. I can vouch for that and Iove cruising and then putting my foot down to unleash all 5733cc of the V8. The ride is so comfortable, but I have improved cornering by fitting Bilstein shock absorbers all round. I also fitted two smaller centre silencers to give a more V8 rumble sound to the exhaust. I keep the car under a breathable, weatherproof cover and it is stored under a protected car port. I never use the car during the winter and re-tax it again each Spring. Overall, I have immensely enjoyed driving this car and it has been totally reliable. Spares are easily and speedily obtained online from Rock Auto in the USA. I many ways I will be sad to see it go, but I am moving on to another project and I do not have space for yet another car. I have four already! Let someone else have some motoring enjoyment at what is a very reasonable price.
