1997 Mazda MX-5

This was my dad’s MX5 MK1 which he had from new. Unfortunately, he has had Alzheimer's for several years and of course can longer drive or indeed remember this car. Dad drove the vehicle rarely and less and less each year. Mileage can be proven in many years of MOT's now online for anyone to download. The car is like new in many ways and very stock and unmolested, I think Dad added a few chrome bits and bobs to it. Underneath is incredible, it again looks like new. Dad had it garaged all the time. Dad fitted seat covers and mats and so the interior is immaculate. I have an original OEM boot rack and aluminium case (never fitted) to go with the car and covers for the soft top when folded back. I MOT'd the vehicle when I picked it up some time ago but since it has ended up taking up room in my garage and SORN. It flew through the MOT, the inspector could not believe the incredible condition of the car. This could be one of a handful or the lowest mileage vehicle of this type in the UK. I know the images are bad, I’ll get some more uploaded once the weather improves. One of the images shows the car with original wheels and tyres. I had to change the tyres as they had gone hard so I found some original alloys and fitted some brand new quality grippy tyres.
