Up for sale is my 1997 MGF in red. I have owned the car since Feb 2021. Mot’d 18th June 2024 with no advisories last year. Will put a new MOT on the car at the asking price. The car has been garaged in my ownership and has been sorned over the winter months.
The car comes with a folder full of old mot’s, service book, parts receipts & handbook.
The paintwork is very clean & tidy and looks good for its 27 years.
Likewise the interior is in good condition with nice leather seats & matching wheel. New mats have recently been fitted.
The hood is in good condition with no tears. The hood was cleaned & reproofed in 2023.
Prior to my ownership the head gasket, water pump & timing belt was replaced by the mechanic owner during Covid lockdown.
In my ownership I have had the following work carried out.
Service incl oil/ air filter , gearbox & engine oil change, Iridium spark plugs.
New metal throttle body.
New starter motor
New Toyo front tyres.
Stainless steel coolant pipes.
Suspension regassed
As you can see this is not a car that was run on a shoestring like most of the examples out there.
Bear in mind it’s 27 years old and not new.
After 3 years of ownership I decided that I wanted a change and have purchased an Audi TT.
