1973 Citroën AZU Serie B 2CV van project
Reluctantly selling this 2CV van project to fund the restoration of our yellow/ black Charleston.
It's an ex EDF/ GDF AZU serie B, so originally 435cc, although it now has a 602cc Acadiane engine and disc brake gearbox loosely fitted. Will all need to come apart to be fitted and renovated properly. It's been off the road and dry stored since 1999/ 2000.

I planned to rebuild it as a small ripple van, so it comes with all necessary panels for that, including NOS genuine rear wings, a choice of rear doors (large square windows or the small oval ones fitted), and several spare wheel covers.
The chassis is very solid, with the exception of one small patch underneath which will need repair. As usual for a 2CV the floors and toe board will need repair or replacement and the sills will need looking at. It also needs a repair to the leading edge of the load bed, behind the seats. Inner rear wings and the rest of the load bed look fine from the outside - can't tell from the inside as the bed has been lined with fibreglass. Body is generally good, doors are very good (fronts will need attention where someone's bolted mirrors through them, but the lower edges are near perfect), windscreen surround and bonnet hinge are good, bonnet and wings are solid.
Rear brakes and master cylinder will need converting from standard brake fluid to LHM to use the disc brake gearbox (easy on this as it has the same rear axle/ pipe arrangement as LHM versions, with no flexible hoses, so you just need to change pipe seals, master cylinder and wheel cylinders). You'll also need to modify the handbrake mechanism. Otherwise it comes with an AK400 drum brake gearbox as well, and brand new brake linings and handbrake cables, but I'd recommend using the disc one.
It'll also come with any other parts I find lying about and won't need for the Charleston.
