A completely rust free example of the 525d Touring e39. This was the run-out model so includes the removable tow bar. There is no rust, there are some stone chips on the bonnet but nothing too bad. The tyres are all in good condition and the MoT runs until the 4th August 2024 (there was only one 'fix' required last year.
The interior is in good condition complete with integrated cassette player and finished with wood effect. The upholstry is fabric, but with no worn out patches or tears.
All instruments and work corretly, all electric windowes function as expected. Even the 'torch' supplied from new still works. Air con works and doesnt need topping up.
The spare is in good condition too.
All alloys in very good condition.
Car runs great, returns over 50MPG on a run. There is a load cover and luggage net between the car and load compartment.
Flaws... the rear tailgate springs really need replacing (replacements are included in the sale), the tailgate (with soft close mechanism), stays open - but needs this fix at some point.
The central locking and alarm work correctly, from all keys used in the lock - the remote functions do not work from the keys (the batteries are not replaceable in the key, they were hard wired rechargable batteries - charged when the key was in the ignition. There is a service history going back to its first purchase, there are 3 keys included.
