We have enjoyed many memorable holidays in this car including trips to Le Mans, Jersey, Cornwall and Wales.
Regarded by many as one of the best colours Moonrock Grey, the previous owner owned the car for over 10 years and I have owned it for nearly 3. First Registered 18/ 06/ 2004 so the facelift model but being 2004 still the lower tax bracket. Enhancements over previous model include updated suspension to improve the previous models twitchy handling, more torque, heated glass rear window, 17-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, larger oval tailpipes and restyled front and rear bumpers.
Comprehensive stamped book and receipts service history, last service including tappets by well know S2000 aficionado Ray at Daytona Autos Congleton. Ray was very complementary about the car suggesting as it was a nice example if I was keeping it I should get it treated with Lanoguard, so I did.
She was subject to a CAT C insurance claim at 1 year old in 2005, nearside door skin and wing replaced and boot repaired, this work was fully inspected by H. W. Bell & Co Ltd consulting engineers on 04/ 02/ 211 who confirmed the car had been repaired to an acceptable standard. Copy of report is in the paperwork.
Any test drive will only be allowed after proof of the driver having full comprehensive insurance for the car, as normally your own comprehensive insurance only covers you for 3rd party on other cars not owned by you. Apologies for this, but a previous traumatic experience, although many years ago now, still has me waking up occasionally in a cold sweat. Once bitten twice shy as the saying goes.

My full intention was to keep it, I am no racing driver, but in my opinion it is the best handling confidence inducing car I have ever owned, and that has included among others a MK2 RS200, 3 TVR’s, Evo 6 a front wheel drive Lotus Elan, and a Ford GT40 Replica. Unfortunately, an impending house move, unexpected early “retirement” combined with the need to ferry grandchildren around and tow the 40 has led to the difficult decision to reduce the car count and let her go.
