I bought this beautiful car which evokes the E-type's design cues of the ‘60s in 2017. I wanted a modern classic which combined modernity with classical lines and driving style and this Jaguar bowled me over with it's style, beauty and presence. This big cat fits the bill perfectly. The 3 Centre console gauges, again rare on 2005 models due to satellite navigation being commonly installed on many but now largely defunct due to a lack of updates, give this car a timelessness. It has a presence many of the XKRs of a similar age just don't have. It drives beautifully and effortlessly with seemingly limitless power from the 400bhp V8 engine, 100bhp more than the normally aspirated XK8. You feel utterly cosseted by the Ivory trimmed interior and attract admiring glances from all those that see this beautiful car. These glances and comments have only become more over the past years with the car's increasing rarity.
