Re-advertised. Beautiful low mileage rare ST220 estate in dark metallic blue (Ink Blue, code E2). Appreciating modern classic.

This is a 1 previous owner car, original dealer stickers and original sales invoice, in great condition for a 19 year old car, full book pack including original sales brochures. Both keys, complete with supplying dealer key ring. Everything works as it should. Full leather interior, Recaro electric adjustable front seats, heated front & rear seats, HID headlights, rear parking sensors, sunroof, privacy glass, original floor mats, plus usual refinements.

Refurbished wheels with new OEM centre caps, new front tyres (2x additional part worn tyres will come with the car) unused spare, Michelin tyres all round, recent brake discs and pads all round. New OEM bonnet release catch, tailgate release switch and reverse switch fitted.

Full comprehensive service history. MOT through to June (no advisories last year). Just 39353 miles, stack of old MOT certs and receipts and stamped service book backing up history. Plenty of paperwork verifying mileage. When I bought this car in 2021 the HPi check returned two issues, a plate change and a mileage discrepancy. Plate changes are common, the mileage discrepancy showed a drop from 37501 (2020) to 37308 (2021), the service book states 37051 (2020) - I have a picture of the speedo when I bought it showing 37271 (Feb'21), draw your own conclusions.

It's not showroom perfect, it's a 19 year old car. It’s never been welded and there are no signs of rust in the usual areas. The bonnet has one or two small lacquer imperfections from bird droppings. The pictures show a car which has not been detailed or valeted, just washed. If you look very closely the front bumper has evidence of a previous repair, see picture. These bumpers are prone to stress cracking, particularly on dark colour cars. I've had an estimate to fix the substandard previous repair - £140. If the car doesn't sell, I’ll get it repaired, re-advertising with an adjusted price, the next owner will be none the wiser... If you’re looking at this advert as an appreciator of modern classics, I think you may want to know this if you're looking for a future show winner and choose to have this fixed by your own trusted repairer.

This low tax model is probably the one of the best Ford ST220 Estate's currently on the market. With prices climbing (have you seen the prices of a low mileage ST200!!), fast Fords remain popular, it could become a show winning car with a little paint correction expertise.

Inspections welcome. No test pilots please. No p/ x thanks.

Not interested in low offers. There's a few ST220 estates for sale, buy a different one if you're looking for a cheap ST220. There aren't any with this history / mileage. If it doesn't find an appreciative buyer, I'm happy to keep it, there’s other ways of creating space.

Bank transfer on collection.

More pictures or video available on request.

Thank you.

I've owned this car for 3 years, after buy it 'blind' from Essex. Having looked around for a smart modern classic estate (didn't want the usual boring SUV, had those) after many months this one emerged. Without hesitation I placed the deposit, arranged transportation, had it collected, paid, delivered to my door... a risk… I wasn’t disappointed despite it arriving in the snow of 2021.

These cars, with this mileage and stack of history, very rare, if you want one and find one, there’s little time for thinking…

I had an ST TDCI back in 2006, it was a great drive, but lacked character, the ST220 has the character, and the estate is nearly as large as the Mercedes E-class I bought to replace this Mondeo – I could have carried on driving it, risk damage from parking knocks etc, I just couldn't drive daily drive it anymore, it’s too rare in this condition.

The Mondeo has been an excellent car during my ownership once the few niggles were fixed (sticking bonnet, intermittent boot release etc). I only used it for 10 months prior to storing. I intended to keep it stored long term. Fast Fords have a reputation for bucking the depreciation curve, and looking at the Mondeo market, ST200’s are rising.

I removed the car from storage June 23, fully serviced and MOT’d (passed no advisories) by my local garage, to sell during summer 2023.... other things took my time, and I’ve just now got around to selling to create some space. If it doesn't find a suitable new home, I'll keep it and find another way of creating space!
