Honda CL350 K4. 1972.
Imported from the USA in 2019, this bike is in remarkably original condition, with even the original handbook still in its plastic sleeve located under the seat.
It was not running quite as it should so taken to a former Skellerns Honda of Worcester mechanic to investigate. It was decided to take the head off to give the engine a thorough checkover. In the event all that was wrong was the float chambers had been set too high, wrong plugs fitted and incorrect timing. The engine internals were found to be in pristine, unworn condition and in the mechanic's opinion entirely commensurate with the mileometer reading.
The original unfaded paintwork, unfaded clock faces, excellent seat base and original exhaust also lend credence to the mileage being correct. Whilst the engine was out, the opportunity was taken to fit later oil scraper rings (as the originals were prone to breakage).
New tyres (Avon Roadrunner) and tubes were fitted as they were rock hard with splitting in the sidewalls (and considered likely to be the originals from new).
A rare opportunity to acquire a highly original low mileage CL350 that is running beautifully.
Only for sale as due to age and health issues, I can no longer pull the clutch in or put on the centre stand.
