Description
The bike is complete and in excellent condition with original exhausts and good chromework. After purchase it was fully recommissioned by a local classic bike engineer including many replacement parts. The work included fitting front fork & seals, fitting front indicators and wiring for warning lamps, new front tyre and tube, rebuild front brake calliper & clean master cylinder, fit electronic ignition system, strip & clean carbs, replace x4 manifolds, fit new ignition switch, replace starter solenoid fit new fuel tap, fit aftermarket seat (original still available) and replace brake, throttle and rev counter cables. The Honda toolkit and Haynes manual are included in the sale. Very recently the starter button has worked intermittently and requires attention.
Having started riding bikes in the early 70's I always wanted to own one of these iconic classics, the reason for the purchase! This is a great bike for someone wanting this iconic classic at a competitive price. I purchased this bike in May 2017 from DK Stafford who had imported it from the USA. I am the first UK owner and obtained a V5C UK Registration Certificate, the number of previous owners in the States is unknown.
The bike runs well and I have taken it on Summer runs since purchased and has been kept in warm dry storage.
