This is a LWB 'high-top' campervan with a 'long nose' bonnet in excellent condition throughout.
Originally registered in the Netherlands it was imported and UK registered in 2019. In its 25+ years it has covered 198, 200 miles, an average of less than 8, 000 miles a year.
I bought the vehicle in 2020 and I have toured the UK and Europe extensively without any reliability issues.
The Westfalia California Exclusive is a 4 berth campervan with 4 belted travelling seats, based on the VW T4 long-wheelbase chassis with the ultra reliable 2. 5 TDi 5 cylinder (102bhp) deisel engine and 5 speed manual gearbox - a powerful motorway cruiser which is also capable of handling mountain passes.
Dimensions: Length 5. 2m, width 1. 8m and height 2. 6m - this campervan will fit into a standard car parking space.
The GVW is 2800kg and it has a payload of 437kg.

Entering the campervan through the sliding door behind the passenger seat, there is a double forward-facing bench seat with head restraints and seat belts for two passengers. This seat converts into a double bed for two people or a very spacious single bed for one person. In front of this seat is a small table which folds out - this is also where the dining table can be attached when parked up.
Behind and backing onto the bench seat is an L-shaped kitchen comprising a Cramer 2 burner ceramic cooker - with a glass lid which can also be used for food preparation, a sink with a cold-water tap, a top-loading compressor fridge which is temperature controlled from the console in the cab.
Behind the sliding door and opposite the fridge is a slim cupboard with two hinged doors, a cutlery drawer and a worktop. Above the fridge and sink on the opposite side are two built-in moulded cupboards with drop-down doors, these can be used for food storage etc.
At the rear of the vehicle, through a door that closes off this area, is a washroom comprising:

Floor to ceiling wardrobe containing a 'safe' with a key lock.
The dining table is clipped inside the wardrobe door for storage when not in use.
The second double bed is in the high-top roof above the lounge area. It comprises a sliding panel and a two-piece mattress - it is extremely easy to set this bed up. Duvets / sleeping bags and pillows are stored in the roof space above the cab.
In the high-top roof there are two stereo speakers, lights and a central opening plastic hatch with fly-screens and blackout.
There are double glazed windows on both sides that open and also have fly-screens and blackout blinds. In the washroom there is an opening rear window, a light and a hatch for ventilation in the roof.
Westfalia curtains are fitted to the side windows of the campervan. There is an external fitted thermal silver blackout screen for the windscreen and cab windows. There are also internal silver screens for these windows. Apart from the windscreen and cab windows - all other windows are double glazed.
Heating is provided by a thermostatically controlled diesel fired blown air heater behind the front seats in the lounge area. This very effectively heats the whole vehicle and is easily controlled using the console at the front of the vehicle.
