Here is our lovely Astra Mark 3 Convertible for sale. Owned and garaged for 11 years and very rarely taken out in wet weather.
We have taken our 2 children on holidays to Cornwall, Norfolk and France without any issues. She has been very reliable, drives very well on the open road but does have the odd clunk, which can only be expected of a 30 year old car on today’s roads, full of pot holes. We’ve looked after her, and she’s looked after us! We think she is an appreciating classic because when we are driving around in the sunshine with the roof down, she gets a lot of attention.
Only selling as now that we have a large family dog, she has become surplus to requirements. In fact, we only covered 70 miles last year due to the awful wet weather and having to transport the dog around.
The car has been regularly maintained by a local garage, MOT until July. Sailed through last 3 MOTs with only a couple of advisories, mainly related to cracking of the tyres. We can provide a whole folder of history, including MOT certificates and servicing invoices. The exhaust will need attention soon and she has had professional welding to both the seat belt anchorage points and sills, both of which are common issues, in order to pass previous MOT’s.
