NOW SOLD Douglas MGTF kit car. You don't see many of these, I have not been able to find another!. They are usually made using the Triumph Herald as a base car. This is one of a few I believe to use the ford 1600cc crossflow Kent engine. Has had extensive work carried out by previous owner with an awful lot spent on it. To start the engine has had a re-build, photo's and receipt here (November 2021). New parts include :- Alternator, Distributer, Weber carb, hand built fuel tank, hand built radiator, seats, stainless exhaust, and other parts too I reckon. My partner feel in love with the car after we went on a Morgan experience last year! then named it "mable" as can be seen in photo's!. It does need in my opinion a bit of fine tuning and then taking to shows? The hood is not the best and could do with a new cover (frame is fine), it does have new door windows and rear 1/ 4 panels that come in their own cover, infact they look un-used. We did use it for a short time last summer and enjoyed the looks you get! but the reason for us selling it is we are moving house and storage is going to be a big issue. There is a huge file of info regarding the range and lots of invoices that show how much has been spent on it. There is even a Douglas booklet in the file!
