Aimed to stay below the higher Benefit in Kind tax threshold and attract the younger buyers who would typically be attracted to the German offerings at the time. These were offered in a limited Colours (this being Flamenco) and were equipped internally with cream sports seats (with contrasting red stitching) – electric height adjustment, Red carpets, cream seat belts, specially red dyed wood veneers. Externally set apart from other models with Five spoke alloys (this car is fitted with optional dust shields) Rear number plate plinth to boot, colour keyed mirrors and radiator grille, spot lights to front valance. Mechanically identical to other 3. 2 models other than the slightly stiffer anti roll bars to give a slightly sportier feel in corners without compromising the XJ6 wonderful ride.
Previous owner to me was a Jaguar enthusiast that had a collection of approximately 10 Jaguars and had the car for approximately 10 years, and as can be seen meticulously maintained by him.
Four new tyres fitted recently having covered minimal mileage.
The outstanding condition both inside and out belies its age of 30 years. There are no signs of of rust anywhere (Nor any of there being in the past). The interior is un-blemished even the drivers sear looks virtually new.
