For sale I've got my 2010 Volvo V70 R-Design 2. 0 with full-service history. Long Clean MOT, Full Service History. I bought the car from a dealer who told me the cam belt and water pump were changed by the previous owner at around 90, 000 miles, although I don't have any proof of this. Their mechanic did a thorough check of all the belts prior to sale, as I directly asked this of them, and they confirmed the current belt has another 15, 000 - 20, 000 miles left in it before it needs changed again. Engine and gear box are really smooth, drives like it's done half the miles it has on the clock. There is a slight knock / rattle as you're going over bumps as there's a heat shield that's loose under the car towards the rear, it does not affect the driving of the car at all. Passed its MOT in December with no advisories. The paint and bodywork are really good for its age as well. There're a few age-related marks but given its mileage, it's an 8. 5/ 10. Good tread left on all tyres. Interior is a 9/ 10 for its age, the leather is in really good condition, no rips or nasty marks. All the buttons and windows work, fully functioning rear parking sensors. The reason I bought the car was to be a good motorway cruiser / holiday car, something I could put a lot of miles on and have enough space to load all our camping gear in. But last month I was offered a Discovery 3 HSE at a deal I couldn't say no too, hence I've now got no need for the poor Volvo. This car still has tonnes of life left in it, it's a really nice place to be and would be an ideal family car or a holiday / dog car. It will easily do 200, 000 miles without any major money needing to be spent on it. This era of Volvo is renowned for being able to shrug off 250, 000 miles like it's nothing. The belts were inspected by a mechanic and they have a good few years of life left in them. It's recently had a new piece of the intercooler pipe replaced as there was a crack in it previously, replaced by genuine Volvo part. As I'm sure you can see, the car has been well maintained throughout it's life and will easily shrug off 200, 000 miles.
