Description
Honda CB-1, Honda designation NC27, Marketed in some markets as CB400F,
uses a version of the 4 cylinder, liquid cooled, gear driven camshaft engine as also used in the CB400R/ CBRR400, only difference being the gearing, high revving(13, 500rpm redline)and powerful(55-57bhp).
This is the MK1 version having typically high Honda build quality of the era, stainless steel exhaust and alloy billet pillion foot peg brackets.
Rare in the UK, in excellent condition and well maintained by fastidious previous owner who actually had 3 at the same time. Invoice from 2023 for new front tyre and top end valve check found to be in excellent condition.
Grey import, previous mileage of 45, 800 is kilometres but speedometer has converter which reads in MPH.
Lightweight(183kg) and manageable with low seat height(775mm), very nimble and great handling. Mot expires December 24, appears that every previous Mot certificate has been kept.
This was the first bike I’ve bought after returning to biking after over 30 year gap, light use in dry weather only, I’m now looking to upgrade in engine size and excited to get a different bike after my enthusiasm has been rekindled.
