1992 Nissan Patrol Safari Y60 - In remarkable condition for a 32 year old vehicle.
Extremely rare version of this most reliable 4 x 4, now an appreciating asset.
4. 2L straight six diesel engine matched to the 'bullet-proof' automatic gearbox.
First registered 01/ 06/ 1992 in Japan imported and registered in the UK in May 2005, bought by myself in July 2013 and owned since then.
A reliable daily drive for over 11 years, only covered 1800 miles since 2020 - total mileage now only 120420, this will increase as the vehicle is still used for the occasional daily commute.
MOT until Jan 2015.
2 x new 12v batteries fitted over the last 6 months.
Underside shows only surface rust with no major rot affecting structural rigidity.
Bodywork in good overall condition - only a few small areas of surface rust and on bumper end caps. remember this vehicle is 32 years old!
Issues: Only the one - drivers side electric window switch needs attention - new regulator fitted last year.
Starts first time every time, runs very well with the excellent diesel power unit.
Personal plate is NOT included in the sale. An extremely reluctant sale of the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned, during the last 11 years of ownership, it has never let me down.
Bought for their renowned reliability and durability, and to a degree rarity, which has become more so over the years.
Being a Japanese vehicle the bodywork has not rusted away like so many vehicles registered elsewhere.
During numerous internet searches I have yet to find an identical model.
Priced sensibly for the next owner to enjoy and hopefully use for another long period of time.
