The Appeal
By 1989 coachbuilt cars were few and far between, which made the Rolls-Royce Corniche and its Bentley Continental sibling even more rarified. Hand-built in tiny numbers at huge cost by Mulliner Park Ward, these cars also enabled buyers to access the classic styling of the original T-Series and Silver Shadow cars.
These cars are often in good order when they come to market. Even set against those high standards, this is surely one of the best. It is a very low mileage 1989 car finished in a fetching colour scheme with some attractive factory-fitted bespoke options. The history file is vast, comprising innumerable invoices from Bentley main dealers and high-end specialists.
Equipped with a long, advisory-free MOT and looking, frankly, magnificent, this car would grace any collection.

This beautiful hand-built car epitomises the word ‘luxury.’ It is sumptuously appointed, including some choice factory options like a pair of concealed Waterford crystal decanters and glass sets in the doors. And, as any perusal of the history file will hint at, it is in excellent condition across the interior and exterior. There are few signs of wear or age as would befit a car of such low mileage.
