Sold new by Wesley Turkington Jaguar in Belfast in 1988. I have the original folder, which includes all the Jaguar documents including the service book, handbook, electrical data chart, etc. There is also a certificate of authenticity from the Jaguar Heritage Trust.
In the service book, there are 9 Stamps in total, from Jaguar Main dealerships and independent Jaguar specialists. In addition, there is a considerable amount of maintenance history in the form of invoices. Recent maintenance work includes:
Refurbished Injector Rails, Fuel Hoses/ Lines, New Ignition Coil, 12x new spark plugs, replaced window motor, refurbished surge tank and filter, new rear shock absorbers +refurbished suspension components, brake pads, and discs, full service + much more. There is too much to list.
There are 5 previous owners and has been in the current ownership since 2019.
Mechanically, it drives fantastically and has no faults. The interior is in fair condition considering the age but could do with updating as there is obvious wear in areas.
The bodywork of the car is fair. It is by no means in poor condition, but there are signs of the paint blistering over the last few years. Please see the photographs. It still looks fantastic after a hand wash. The convertible roof is in full working condition and operates at the touch of the button.
Underneath the car is very clean and there is no significant rot or rust.

This is a usable nice example of a timeless classic, but would benefit from some touch-ups and TLC to make it a fantastic example. The Private Plate will stay with the car.
