Fully fitted out with rock and roll bed. Cooker, 2 way fridge, 240 volt electric. Leisure battery, split charger.
Interior completely re-done in 2015 when van was subject to full strip out and re-work/ repaint. All glass out all new window and door rubbers. Engine removed and top end rebuild. Water pump replaced and carburettor professionally stripped and rebuilt by Dr V Dub in Southsea in 2018.
All panels fitted with foil faced soundproofing. New pop top canvas. Photo record available. Alloy wheels ex Mercedes ML load rated. Original wheels available but rusty. Angel eye headlights (originals available). Tinted rear windows, Full set thermal black out blinds. Fitted Pioneer stereo/ CD player. Spare radiator still boxed never fitted.
4 belted seats one is lap belt.
New weatherproof cover purchased autumn 2023 included.
Now tax and MOT exempt from April 2024, but current MOT end June.
We have enjoyed many great camping trips with our 2 kids in the van. They absolutely love spending time in it, even when parked on the driveway during lockdown. The Reimo rear hinge pop top is based on the Westy original and provides sleeping space for 2 plus the extra headroom downstairs.
JUB was imported from France by a previous owner but we think originated in Switzerland before that, the grille still sports the Touring Club Suisse badge.
The bus drives great, will cruise at 60mph even when fully loaded. Was used to commute infrequently when cars were off the road as well as camping trips.
As the kids are getting older it’s not being used enough for us to keep her, hence the reluctant sale.
Overall condition is good, but rust bubbles beginning to develop in the usual spots. £thousands spent over the years with parts sources from Brickwerks / JK. Last work and MoTs undertaken by Bugs N Busses in Southsea. Extensive paperwork for work and parts available, too much to list.
