This lovely old amazon estate was imported from the Netherlands in 2017. It is UK registered but I still have the original Dutch registration document.
The car is in very good condition and drives really well. The B1800 engine starts easily and sounds strong. A new carburettor was put on a couple of years ago.
The clutch and gearbox are very good and there is no whining from the gearbox or rear axle.
The interior is very nice and original. The rubber mats have been replaced with carpets and the drivers seat is the later type with headrest. Everything works including the lovely original Volvo radio. The headlining is good although there are some small tears in the rear left hand side as seen in the photos.
Underneath, the car is solid. It has had some welding over the years but it is still strong and it does not require any work.
The dash board corners(underneath) are still good and have never had any work. The front inner wings are totally solid. The car comes with 2 front inner wing shields which I took off when I bought it. They have done their job well and would be better put back on.
To sum up: fantastic old amazon, not perfect by any means but very respectable and usable. Some of the rubbers are showing their age but it doesn't leak anywhere.
The car comes with front inner wing liners. Some bills/ old Mots etc. There is also the owners manual and a workshop manual.
The car is in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.
