I bought this last summer with the intention of replacing my 1966 Amazon saloon with it. Now, due to moving house later this year, I have decided to sell both.
It is solid underneath, all welding and painting was done before I purchased, I have restored 2 of these in the past so have first hand experience of where they go!
The paintwork presents well but won't win any awards. Overall it's a good useable classic which could be improved with some work to freshen up the interior.
It runs well, and drives well down our private lane - but hasn't done more than a couple of miles at a time since 2020.

These are the ultimate practical classic - they can keep up with modern traffic, are nice and light to drive, and can still perform as a workhorse nearly 60 years after leaving the factory.
I've owned a 1966 Amazon saloon for nearly 10 years, but always wanted the estate, so when this one came up last year I jumped at it. I also have a 1970s Volvo Laplander long-term project, and a house move coming later this year. The Laplander will never be sold, so I've made the decision to sell both Amazons this year.
