This model, being the 960, was produced between 1990-1996, by this very well-respected Swedish company, of which 154, 329 were made, 112710 saloons and 41, 619 estates, being very widely acclaimed for both their outstanding safety features and of course, their robustness. This saloon being towards the very end of the production range.
This lovely saloon, resplendent in Navy Blue, has had only one family owned, our family, from new, with a very comprehensive total regular service/ maintainance, booklet/ history file included, to back up the 101675 mileage
Presented in Navy Blue, it both runs and drives, very well indeed and it’s handling and comfort, is a joy to behold.
Due to the very long-term family ownership and history file, it is felt worthy of continuing to keep “the old girl running”, especially as she continues to drive so sedately.
So, if any, new owner, happens to feel the same way, we’ve all now decided that we’d be very happy, to see it go, to a trusted new home, as due to our impending re-location, we will quite soon, no longer have the garage space to accommodate her.
Whilst the vehicle, does both drive and visibly appear in good condition, it will need an current M. O. T., as unlike other vehicles that we also have, in our collection here in Sussex, it does’nt quite yet qualify for “historical status” although it does now qualify for “ulez” exemption.
We would, of course, be very happy to do this, for any new owner, in our lovely friendly local garage, who would still want to love and cherish her, as we have, all over these very many years-all 28 of them.
For all this pleasure and probable entry too, to “regional classic car” shows, we feel a figure of £4750, would be appropriate , but are, of course, very happy to negotiate with any afficiendo, like ourselves, who would enjoy taking on ownership, into its later years,
