Full Service History including original sales invoice from 1987, large folder full of work done over the years. Previous owner had the car for 20 years, I have had the car since early 2023. Looking for a serious buyer to finish the work needed on the car.
Car was off the road between 2013 and 2023 with recent recommission/ restoration taken place to make the car roadworthy again. Huge amounts of work and time have been put into this car over the last year.
Original Porsche Bodykit, Desirable Guards Red Colour, Automatic Heating, All Electrics Work.
Good Parts:
Gearbox and Clutch are in good condition with bite low down.
Interior is in good condition with only 1 small tear in drivers leather side bolster. Fabric parts of seats are near perfect.
Full Respray, New Cambelts & Aux belts water pump & thermostat in July 2023. Extensive welding to both rear inner and outer sills, upgraded with thicker steel and coated in red oxide paint. New Battery, New Front Brakes, New Brake lines, new rubber seals and stickers around the car. K&N Panel Air Filter and Fresh Oil in July. New Front wheel bearings. New Fuel Filter. New pair of rear driveshafts. New Hood insulation, clean engine bay. Countless other items.
Bad Parts:
No Handbrake fitted due to previous handbrake failure, all new parts have been bought and complete handbrake system will come with the car but I don’t have time to fit the system.
Both rear wheel bearings are in poor condition and will need replacing. I have had an inspection carried out by JMG Porsche and they aren’t dangerous to drive with.
Clutch Pedal Box moves - making a click noise when clutch is depressed, can be fixed easily.
Headlining isn’t terrible but could do with replacing.
Rear fuel lines are in need of replacement soon. Horn is a tad rusty but works fine. Odometer works but less than 1000 miles have passed since car was put back on the road in late July if you want to adjust that forward when fixed.
I genuinely love this car and it will be hard to see it go. Looking for someone serious to buy the car and finish the small amount of work needed to make it perfect. Car has been priced with the work needed in mind. With the these things done it would easily go for 10-12k.
