For sale my 1979 Capri 3. 0 litre Ghia with a 3 speed auto gearbox Finished in Oyster gold.
The car was First registered in April 1979, and has only 57300 miles showing on the clock,
the car runs and drives really very well.
The bodywork is in very good condition, the interior is original and is also in very good condition, the seats have been recently re-foamed, dash is un-cracked with original radio (modern CD/ Bluetooth unit installed in the glove box).
There are a couple of areas where the paint has begun to bubble ( front OS wing leading edge, behind the sunroof NS) but nothing too serious given the car is 45 years old.
The car comes with 5 original alloy wheels which are in good condition, tyres are almost new,
The engine bay could do with some work to tidy it up but no welding is needed as the inner wings and suspension tops are in very good condition the bulkhead is solid.
I Bought the car around fourteen years ago and since then I have carried the following work
• New suspension all round
• Changed suspension rubbers for polly
• New brakes all round
• New water pump
• Hi-flow radiator
• New coil
• New plug leads
I feel that the time has come for someone else to enjoy this car as I don’t use it as much as I should,
