1967 Electraglide, imported to the UK from Indiana in 2020. I am 3rd UK owner, and I don't have much info on what was done to the bike in recent years - loads of receipts, but these are mainly cosmetic or service items.
The belly numbers do not match, I know this is important to most Harley people and this is reflected in the pricing, matching numbers would add around £4k to this price.
The bike runs well, I had it out at the weekend for a run and can confirm everything is working as it should. I put an MOT on it in April, although it is MOT exempt. Gearbox is good, a bit clunky into first but smooth up and down the box. It has the heel/ toe gear change, if I were to keep it I would remove the heel lever, it is annoying. Rear brake is good, front brake works but its not really up to the job - but to be fair it is a heavy lump to stop.
I have a video of it starting and running, and will send on request.
Starts easy, I have never fiddled with the carb or timing.
All lights work, except the wee light on the fender, wiring is there just never hooked it up. Lights on the panniers work, indicators have idiot lights on dash, genny light and neutral lights work.
I ran it without the panniers and fitted the pogo seat for a while, but it is now fully kitted out with the panniers again. This is a very comfy bike, good seat, good riding position.
It is heavy, but I find it easy enough to ride on the back roads and in town, but it comes into its own as a cruiser.
I am selling a few bikes to free up space, I did try to sell this one earlier in the year but I thought I'd wait for the Summer, - still waiting!
The bike is near Brechin, collection only - although I am heading down to North England and Glasgow soon and can put it in my trailer if it helps.
