UNIQUE 7-seater Audi RS6 4. 2 Avant - Fastidiously maintained.
My cherished 7-seater Audi RS6 converted with Audi OEM rear-facing third row of seats and full inertia reel seat belts.
Always garaged and serviced religiously every 3k-5k miles using OEM Audi parts and Castrol 5w/ 40 fully synthetic oil. Totally reliable.
If you know these cars, you will be aware of their standard spec so I won't list it all here. Here are some highlights of mine:
Full and complete maintenance and service history with all bills and invoices present. Too much to list here but all the important work has been completed, including:
- Gearbox regularly serviced by specialists (And fully rebuilt at 78k before I bought it)
- All-round coil-over suspension
- Recent front discs, drilled rears and new pads all round (3k miles)
- OEM timing belt, tensioner and water pump changed February 2023 (3, 000 miles ago)
- New cooling fan fitted at a cost of over £1, 000
- New supply-and-demand fuel pump fitted
- New heavy duty battery with 4-year warranty
- Reconditioned alloys
- MOT February 2025.
- Re-gassed ice-cold air con works perfectly
- Always garaged and dry-use only
- Fully stamped service book and huge history file with all receipts
- The car had 9 owners but 4 of these were husband/ wife swaps for insurance purposes.
I have owned my RS since February 2014 and covered over 30, 000 miles in it, and so all the important work has been undertaken and remedied while I have owned it.
In other words, any faults or issues that might have materialised when it was owned by others have been rectified by me.
Downsides:
- Needs new headlining, as it's sagging. I have taken £900 off the price
- There is a small rush patch on the boot lid, near the RS badge.
- Radio aerial tip needs replacing. Reception is fine, though. This is, I believe, a unique C5 RS6. The additional row of seats was never an option on the RS6 but the 3rd row WAS available on the regular Audi A6 Avant of the time, and so the RS body structure was ready for fitting the 3rd row. The rearmost seats can be removed if large loads are to be accommodated.
I am only selling because I work from home now and just don't use it enough.
I am in no rush to and will keep it if need be.
