A lovely example of the ever desirable Matchless G15CS Desert Sled. All matching numbers, not mucked about with and the proper amount of patina make this a must see bike for someone contemplating a Desert Sled purchase.
This bike is a ridiculous amount of fun on the country back roads and more than capable on A Roads. Thoroughly dependable in my ownership; has used little to no engine oil between seasonal services but unsurprisingly I’ve found an occasional small top up of primary chaincase oil is advisable. The original magneto ignition performs admirably and although the original matched monoblock carbs go with the bike, it runs far better on the Amal Premier 930’s I have fitted to cope with modern fuels.

I fell in love with these as a kid as the cool alternative to my Fathers "Jampot" Matchless Singles. This has been my "go-to" bike for the last couple of years and it never fails to bring a smile to my face.
