For sale is my super rare late registered end of the line Alfa Romeo GT Cloverleaf with the unbreakable 1. 8 Twin Spark classic Alfa engine. If you don't want the running costs of the thirsty and expensive V6 (which never came as a Cloverleaf anyhow) or the fragile nature of the 2. 0 JTS direct injection engine, the only option for you is the bullet proof classic Alfa twin cam engine. Better still, the 1. 8 version did without the troublesome balancer belt which means simple timing belt changes and no belt whine! It is simply the most robust and reliable Twin Spark engine and makes an easy 140PS with ample torque - the soundtrack, as to be expected from this marque, is simply fabulous. A light engine mounted into a beautiful Coupe bodyshell; does it get any better?

The Cloverleaf Edition was the last lease of life Alfa Romeo offered the GT after nearly 7 years in production. As with all classic Alfa Romeo Cloverleaf models, the QV represents the highest sporting intentions from Alfa Romeo together with the highest collectability status. They didn't produce many 1. 8 Twin Spark Cloverleafs simply because at this point of time, the majority of the public were still obsessed with diesel powered passenger cars (how horrendous for me is the thought of an Alfa fitted with a diesel power train!). My car was registered in November 2010 and is the latest known car I have ever encountered as an Alfa Romeo Owners Club member.

The factory specification on the QV cars was fantastic; I'll touch on them below:

- Carbonio Nero paint (in the case of my car)
- Satin finish on exterior grille, bonnet plinth, door mirror caps
- Drilled aluminium pedals
- Black instrument cluster with unique red needles
- Dark grey finish on centre console
- Dark grey headlining and pillars
- Cloverleaf badging on tailgate and centre armrest console
- Dark finish inside headlamps
- Black leather interior with grey stitch and Alfa Romeo crests on headrests
- MP3 compatible CD head unit
- BOSE premium hi-fi with subwoofer
- 18" Enzo 8x18" Cloverleaf specific alloy wheels
- Red brake calipers all round
- Climate control
- Cruise control
- Electric windows
- Power mirrors
- Central locking

I have the sales brochures from new with the car where all of the specific QV features can be seen in detail.

The car itself has been over serviced from new. I believe there are 12 service stamps in the book, together with every single receipt from new detailing all of the service and maintenance work. The entire book pack is complete, and I have both keys here in my possession. I think you'll struggle to find another 14 year old car with this level of service history, let alone the vast documentation as there are two lever arch files. For your information, the engine consumes no oil and no water. The Twin Spark engine likes to rev, and like any Twin Sparks I've owned before, she enjoys an explicit diet of Petronas (Selenia) 10W60 which Alfa themselves recommend for 'spirited' driving. I tend to service cars every 3000 miles and have done so for over two decades, and will provide the correct amount of Petronas oil and a new genuine Alfa Romeo oil filter to the new owner for the next service. Additionally, I have only ever used Shell premium fuels for last 20 years; this car lives on V Power 99 octane performance fuel.

Due to the word limitation in this advert, I cannot list the depth of my renovation but note that it includes a total suspension rebuild with Koni shocks and H&R springs, a major service with all belts and a new old stock variator, and just about everything else I could get my hands on including radiators, hoses, exhaust systems with Novitec Germany muffler etc. The brakes have been rebuilt, and a new clutch has been fitted with all new driveshaft seals and the rear main seal for good measure. I've even retrofitted an undertray, together with a beautiful custom stainless steel radiator support panel. No stone has been left unturned.

The documented rebuild of this car within the last 2 months has cost around £6000 and I have kept a very thorough Excel log of whats been changed and, additionally, have also developed a 'recommissioning' certificate. Please contact me for more details, but be warned; it even goes into the details of replacement nuts and bolts from Alfa Romeo.

This is the best driving and best looking GT left; you'll never find another in this condition and with this intensive a renovation programme. She even wears Pirelli tyres! The chassis is taught and controlled yet incredibly supple and at home with daily duties. With only 68k on the clock, it feels every bit its low mileage and even more so with the extensive reworking. The engine is super smooth and responsive with this being the ultimate Twin Spark classic without the balancer belt.

I am based in Essex but can have the vehicle shipped in the UK.

The most beautiful car in the world, and the best remaining renovated example in the UK. The last Quadrifoglio Verde.
