Introduced in 1961, the TR4 is a great signifier of the classic British roadster - particularly noted in its era for modern styling and an impressive swathe of racing success.
Extensively restored in 2012, this TR4 boasts top-class paintwork, new interior trim, and a rebuilt engine - making this TR4 a highly attractive proposition for any classic car.
• First registered in 1962, a very earlier model
• In current ownership since Dec 2012
• The current owner purchased the car fully restored to a professional standard and remains exactly the same quality since.
• The was subject to a restoration between 1990 and 1996 before being sold
• The car then when through another full body restoration in 2012 taken back to bare metal, all panel gaps given exception attention and set correctly , including a registered repaint. A photographic survey of the restoration is enclosed in its history file.
• The engine, gearbox, and overdrive have been rebuilt, enhancing the performance and reliability of the vehicle which runs faultlessly. Recent replacement carburettors replaced including distributor, plugs and leads to ensure reliability.
• Paperwork file includes:
• V5c document
• original handbook
• Invoices for every component and process of the restoration
• Photographic record of the restoration
• A full lever arch file of paperwork
• Everything looks practically new, with the car's squat proportions free of dents or dings and not forgetting the rare combination of perfect gap lines between wings, doors, bonnet and boot.
• Paint looks excellent and really matches the car being bright red
• Red hard top in very good condition and works as it should.
• Soft top is included and in perfect condition which neatly stores away in the boot where the spare wire wheel sits also.
• Car is sitting on wire wheels with good tyres
• The interior trim is all new and looks spectacular, in a stylish black trim and red piping. The wooden dash is still the original and in great condition
• All instruments are all clean and well presented
• There are no technical faults throughout
• The car has been stored in an insulated and heated garage
• As a result, the underside is solid and clean
• Invoices in file of early 1990’s
• All the chrome work is shining and good

I searched for a very long time trying to find a TR4 that was better than factory condition as their original panel gaps were very hit and miss. This TR4 hit the mark and it’s been in my ownership since 2012.
