The Bentley R Type is the second series of post-war Bentley automobiles, replacing the Mark VI. Essentially a larger-boot version of the Mk VI, the R type is regarded by some as a stop-gap before the introduction of the S series cars in 1955. As with its predecessor, a standard body was available as well as coachbuilt versions by firms including H. J. Mulliner & Co., Park Ward, Harold Radford, etc.
This example is in fact an honest 2 owner motor car in superb order. Recently woken up after several years in the warm & dry. As you can see it presents itself very well and runs as it should after recent recommissioning. Some small paint imperfections evident .
Blue over pewter with scarlet hide complimented with a sage head lining., a full tool tray and all the spare wheel tools. Some spares in the car.
Sensible conversation always welcome and texts ignored...... reference others before making daft offers...... serious buyers pick up the phone.
V5 in place.. original handbook etc.... delivery at cost. The best way to buy this car is to talk !!!!!
Happy to discuss anytime
