Mechanical:
- 107k miles on the brilliant 2. 3l OM601 diesel engine (the 'million mile' motor, one of the most reliable engines ever made)
- 5-speed manual, cruises at 70mph on flat ground (slower over hills)
- No power steering, I love the feel but heavy when parking
- Very well maintained with fully-stamped service book
- New MOT and oil service
Cosmetics
- Underwent welding and full paint job in VW 'Off Road Grey' in 2017. Additional welding and paint touchup in 2023.
- Overall very good body cosmetics
- Imperfections include some bubbling around the windshield, and paint flaking from the sliding door track

You'll go quite a while before seeing another like it on the road. The driving is experience is both comfortable and very 'analogue', which is a feel that I love. It makes every trip that much more interesting.
