SUMMARY
I purchased the car 11 years ago from a renowned Mercedes Dealer after looking extensively for the best example of the C124 300ce I could find.
This 1991 C124 300ce is finished in a rather attractive colour combination of Diamond Blue Metallic and Grey Leather Interior.
Now some 33 years later the car is still in lovely condition, although as you'd expect there are a few minor marks and imperfections commensurate with a vehicle of this age and mileage. There is slight delamination within the corner of the rear screen, the seat belt butler casings have come away slightly from the housing, there is a small rust patch the size of a little finger nail to the top of the rear screen. Underside is exceptional, and it certainly doesn't look it's age, the 8-hole alloys are shod with excellent matching Bridgestone tyres.

Service history is impressive, the original service book contains 27 stamps there are also 2 large A4 lever file of invoices and receipts along with all the old MOT's.

The interior is in good condition, the grey leather has slight wear to the drivers seat bolster, ribbed over mats protect the carpet which are in excellent condition, the leather door cards are incredibly good too. The car is also fitted with a period correct and working Blaupunkt Radio/ Cassette

The car drives superbly, in fact its difficult to believe this car is almost 40 years old and underlines just how good these cars were built by Mercedes. The M103 six cylinder 3. 0 engine is arguably one of the best engines ever manufactured by Mercedes along with the 4 speed auto gearbox.
This car has achieved much admiration during my ownership- sad but genuine reason for sale.
