French Collector of old LAND-ROVERs from many long years, I regretfully sold “Bollington”
-Bollington is a 109 Series 2a Forward Control equipped as an intervention vehicle by Carmichael Ltd in England in February 1962.
- Is exact name is “the Redwing type FT/ 6 Fire Appliance”
- Very rare vehicle in this condition
- I bought it in September 2011 in Norway. See the attached LRO magazine article
- It now has 31, 679mi on the odometer
- 4-cylinder 2L25 petrol 77HP engine
- 100 galons internal tank
- Transportable GODIVA motor pump.
- Bollington was completely restored in England in the early 2000s
