1961 Rover P4 100 (6656UE) in immaculate condition lovely chrome finished in Storm Grey with a grey interior. Engine purrs along with no issues and overdrive kicks in nicely. No corrosion and structurally sound and everything works as it should. Classical period radio (if you want that sort of thing). Mechanically perfect (qualified mechanic serviced it). This Rover has many thousands of pounds spent on it including window capping. Bought it privately it has six owners and myself it is kept in a garage and only used when it is dry and never used when there is salt on the road. It will be sadly missed. ( I am looking for a morris minor convertible ).
This car went abroad (Germany) with the first owner an RAF Officer 6656UE was given to staff cars. It had a full respray in 2011 and everything was taken off which is evident in the finish. The car had a new clutch 4, 000 miles ago. I wasn’t happy with the front seat (it was refurbished in 2017) so I had it recovered in leather in 2023. Wax oiled underneath. This car is a pleasure to drive to classic car shows, around town and in the countryside and attracts attention everywhere it goes.
