We are very pleased to offer this extremely original Rover P4 80. We originally purchased this car in 2016 from the 2nd owner who had owned it for 4 years. Prior to this it was a 1 owner car that had resided all its life in the Kent area. We sold it to a local gentleman who has cared for it for the last 8 years until we purchased it back this week.
It is a largely very original and unrestored car. The mileage displayed is just 57139, which is amazingly warranted by every mot certificate since new. There is also lots of service records from the 60s amongst the extensive file.
We have been out on road test with it today and it still drives faultlessly. The overdrive gearbox is working perfectly. The gentleman who we purchased it from has maintained it well, fitting a new set of radial tyres. It has also had new exhaust manifold. New brake servo and master cylinder some years ago
The under dash tool tray is present and complete. Every thing on this car functions as it should and it is a joy to drive. As mentioned above it has been mot tested annually and we will supply it with a new mot.
The all important sills and body mounts are excellent, as is the boot floor and the usual problem areas
Bodywork is very sound and well presented. There is the odd stone chip and scratch here and there but it is a rarely available original car. In our opinion it would be hard to source another with this history and mileage
