Ducati 900 Monster registered new in the UK in February 1997 and currently shows 22, 316 miles.
I purchased the bike from a dealer last year but have only been out on it twice. An ongoing health condition means I need a bike with an upright riding position. The bike boasts quite a lot of carbon fiber as well as decent quality adjustable brake and clutch levers. Chain and sprockets are good and there's plenty of life in the Michelin tyres. An Oberon clutch slave cylinder has been fitted so you can forget about the usual heavy Ducati clutch and the rear shock is a YSS replacement. Exact Fit cam belts were fitted 2000 miles ago (in 2021) together with new SKF bearings.
Paperwork includes a number of service invoices, quite a few old MOTs (the current one expires November 2024 - no advisories), original service book, owner handbook and a copy of the Ducati workshop manual.
The bike needs no work as it stands. It rides extremely well. Pick up is smooth and glitch-free and the soundtrack is quite pleasing..... as you might imagine.
