Description

Morgan Family three wheeler with original 997cc Matchless MX side valve engine, three speed and reverse gearbox previously restored and owned by Ewan Cameron of Cameron Engineering to a very high, useable standard. Very rare original matching numbers: Reg No, Engine, chassis & body as per factory record, included in sale. Also includes the very first tax disc issued in 1936! (And a few others.) Recently refurbished radiator and starter motor and fitted with period indicators to the front (new to rear). The rear 'spare' wheel is also brand new with a brand new tyre and the original bonnet mascot was added last year. (See 1934 Morgan catalogue.) Converted to 12v and now with an alternator the vendor has used it regularly, recently completing the VSCC Somerset tour and using it for other MTWC events. (Drive it Day coming up!) It featured on the Morgan Sports Car Club stand at the Classic & Restoration Show at the NEC this March. Comes complete with bespoke three-wheeler trailer with winch and hand brake. Can be seen at Vintage Revival Montlhéry this May going round the track and can be bought in France (or back in the UK) immediately after the event! (May 13th 2024.) Go to - details above to see video. There are very few 'Matching Numbers' Morgan Family in existence as, sharing the same chassis as a 'Supersports', many have been turned into that model with a change of engine. (I know of only three other original cars like this.)

I've known this car when it was Tracy Cameron's personal transport - she used to take the kids to school in it. It has featured on both the Morgan Three Wheeler Club's and the Morgan Sports Car Club's stands at The Classic Car Show at the NEC (as well as The Classic Restoration Show) and at one time also was also on display at the Morgan Motor Company's museum. I have a copy of the Morgan factory records showing the build spec and numbers that this car still has.

It is a well known car and is even pictured in Ken Hill's 1995 book: 'Completely Morgan - Three Wheelers 1910 - 1952'. (p65.)

It will be sold with a trailer, purpose built for a three-wheeler Morgan. (But not this one!) It has a winch and a hand-brake and as brand new spare tyre. In my ownership it has always been garaged overnight.

Welcome to come and visit and give it a try and the buyer can rest assured that every help will be given to the new owner learning to drive and live with this wonderful little car.
